For its fourth longplayer, Boxcar Satan joins with
Oregon-based one-man punk blues band Ghostwriter for
13 originals and covers that shake, rattle and ooze through the swampy
underbelly of abrasive Americana.
Rehearsed in two days and recorded in two more, this disk documents
a raw and primal collaboration between a pair of artists with a shared
musical vision. It’s folk blues for the 21st Century: raw, electrified,
desperate and kicked up with a double shot of black humor.
